 Lowered Car, Girlfriend trouble |

I think the next step for my car would be to get lowering springs. I want them to lower the car and improve handeling. I really think the lowering springs would help the look and all, but the performance is what I'm after. And, springs are really close to being in my price range. The problem is, my girlfriend thinks that all guys who lower their cars are douches. I know this isn't true, but how to I convence her that it isn't?

Do what you want, it's your car and your money. However, let your gf know that you gave her opinions serious thought and will remove them if she is right.... ha ha
Personally, I'd save the money. All these little projects are nice in the short term, but in the long term the money could be spent more wisely. I wish I would have invested half as much as I did into my celica. I'd have at least another 3-5 months paid off on my RSX-S, and my payments are %553 a month. But hey... it is your money, and if it makes you happy do it. You only live once
