 Clunking from rear |

ok, i took off my air ride and put all stock suspension back on.
i couldn't get the half of end links off the struts i got at the junkyard, so i left them i and drove a couple days w/o them. yesterday i got around to putting them back on and tight. Now i have a clunking sound from the rear when i hit bumps. if u bounce the car from the rear i don't get a sound, but if i rock the car from the side i get the clunking noise from the rear. Sounds like metal hitting metal. i was told to check my rear bearings, which i will do tomorrow. anyone know what it would be off the bat? -------------------- Jared Harwell

I have that weird noise too and could never figure out why. Anyways I don't give a rats ass about it anymore as long as the car doesn't stall and die out while Im driving. Forget less about the noise and more about how to get to point B from point A.
