Hi 6gc.net crowd....
I have a 206K mile engine, and i'm wanting to install a turbo...my questions are: - -would it tear the existing engine up? (or cause any harm?) ...The car has been well cared for and kept current on repairs by pro mechanics... - -is it possible to install it myself? (i've built a Caterham Lotus 7 kit car...but that had detailed instructions)...basically is the turbo a tricky install? ***let me know what you think*** -------------------- Past: V6 Swapped 6G Celica, E46 BMW M3, Jeep Wrangler TJ

Thats what i would do also. With 206 k the moter is pretty used, Really if you spent some extra money you could just get all internals put in your engine before turbo, like bigger cams, piston rods, rings, bearings, and all the other things in the engine. But engine rebuild would prolly be cheaper.
