Hey Guys, thanks for all the great responses about turboing my Celica...now I have another question...
-do cold air intakes really help performance?...or do they just sound cool? (No pun intended:))... -is it worth the price?...and where do you get them?? - - -i found one on ebay, w/a k&n filter for $113.00... -also how is the hp increase?...I assume the engine likes these guys b/c it gets more air to it?? ***Let me know what you think in general about cold air intakes...*** -------------------- Past: V6 Swapped 6G Celica, E46 BMW M3, Jeep Wrangler TJ

Rice is the non-functional mod that people think are functional, or the distastefully over-done visual mods.
A proper CAI and muffler can be functional, or they can be rice. Here's the difference: "my CAI and stainless-steel straight-through muffler will generate about 5 HP if I'm lucky" versus "my intake and fart cannon let me walk on Vipers." |
