There is a kid here in my town, drives a 97 cavalier z24 with exhaust and intake (automatic) he has a sticker on his back window with a guy peeing on a rice grinders sticker, but anywho who would win the celica gt with exhaust and intake, or the cavalier Z24 with exhaust and intake?
(just curious) This post has been edited by celiracer: Oct 19, 2005 - 5:02 PM -------------------- ![]() |

ive been through the same thing, me and my buddy joe dragged at Toronto Motorsports park duin 1/4 mile. My GT-S, short ram intake, 2.5" catback, short shifter, other than that, stock...against his 2001 Cav z24, short ram intake, 2.5" catback exhaust, autobox. We punched it, he got me off the line, but come 3rd gear, the torque band kicks in nicely on the celi and i bumped ahead. Celi can win, depending on the driver/where u shift/how u shift. I was runnin on 94 octane that day with a shot of penzoil octane booster, and he was just runnin on every day 89 octane. Frankly when it comes to this, it comes down to the drivers. My friend has a '93 Geo Metro 1.0L that he turboed, pushin 90HP if that. He can spank old 5.0L Stangs. He raced a guy in my class this year in his 94 Mustang GT that was auto and spanked him horribly. It all depends on the driver/if they know how 2 drive
