Contemplating a new project car..., input solicited... Options

I am very close to beginning a new project car and wanted to get some feedback. No, I am not selling the celica - in fact, there are some major things in store for her too!

My plan is to buy a MKII MR2 (91-95) and drop in a 5vzfe and having a custom twin screw supercharger fabbed up for it. I am planning a water to air intercooler and custom pulleys. The goal will be a safe, reliable 400whp and 300 ft/lbs of torque before 2000 RPMs. The car will be stock bodied (except for clear corners), redded tails, and aftermarket rims. The car will have 93+ turbo brakes and an aftermarket suspension that will be first rate. I am looking for a hardtop for ridgity reasons but they are a little more difficult to find in the best color (black ).

Im not entirely sure what engine it is well model number, but its out of a 99 V6 tacoma, fitted to a 5s tranny, he is building it to be a race car but street legal as well.
