Hello everyone,
I used to have a 94 Celica GT hatch and I sold it because it had a lot of problems. Right now I have a 7th gen, but I want to get back into the 6th gens. I'm trying to find a low mileage Celica GT hatchback with a 5 speed transmission. I am planning on doing a 3sgte swap on the car almost immediately after I buy one. Yay Ok, So if you have a car or know of a car for sale that has under 100k miles on it, please let me know. I'm lookin to spend no more than 5500 on the car. It can be any year, as long as it has under 100k miles. Thanks, Rob A. Edit: It also needs to be within a few hours driving distance of Statesville, NC. Thats around Charlotte NC which is in the middle of NC for those not familiar with the state. This post has been edited by RbrtNdrws: Oct 20, 2005 - 10:05 PM -------------------- ![]() |

Well, A high mileage car will have other problems even if I replaced the engine and transmission. A lower mileage would be safer anyway. One example I can think of right now would be something like cv joints (something not related to engine swap).

I would say rather than spending the extra money on a car with low miles that you're just going to swap anyways, save the money by buying a high mileage car and use the difference to replace the things that could wear out like CV joints and such (which you'll probably do anyways with a swap). Also with a higher mileage car that could use suspension work, replace it with a performance suspension and sway bars and such rather than replacing a good suspension on a lower mileage car. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
