i just replaced my old POS pads with some ceramic ones. i put the little springs back in, but after the 5 minute test drive i just had, i smelled something funny. is this normal for brand new pads, or are the pads still rubbing the rotor when my foot is off the brake? any help would be appreciated as this is the first time i replaced brake pads.

i was driving 30-35 mph with some softer braking then harder braking later on. it smelt funny when i got out of the car, but i drove to and from school today with no smell at all. seems like theyre fine to me now.
