how to install speakers, i need help bad!!!! Options

i just baught new alpine speaker for my car but having a hard time installing it... the front door stock speakers are 6 3/4 but the 6 1/2 works but they dont fit onto the speaker holder.......what do i do

just email crutchfield and tell them that it was not a perfect fit and hopefull they will send you some brackets for free...just complain to them thats the best advice i can give you or just buy the brackets.....just click the installtion tab on their web site and specify your car then look for Speaker Adapter Brackets under quick links.....they actually have more brackets adapter now than the time i bought mines two weeks ago but i think the best one to get is the Universal 1" Liftring for 5-1/4" or 6-1/2" speakers....the ring is 1 inch. but measure the gap between the speaker and the door speaker holder.....these aren't the ones that i bought but i think it might work if 1 inch is big enough...let me know if u need anymore help
