 Swithcing engines, carina & celica |

It`s possible to put an engine froma a 1994 carina 2.0cc 16v to a 1994 celica 1.8cc 16v ? The gearboxes must be swithced ?

I`m sure i will not find what i need. I don`t find answer to my question with gearbox, and i understand from you that will match the engine from carina on my celica 94 with some mods? But with or withoput gearbox froim carin ? can i keept the gearbox from celica ? Believe me i was searching all over the place but don`t find this answers.
