It`s possible to put an engine froma a 1994 carina 2.0cc 16v to a 1994 celica 1.8cc 16v ? The gearboxes must be swithced ?

Here's some info on the swap. The caldina motor is just like any other 3sgte motor. It has a 3s block. I don't know what code the tranny is but in order for it to work in your celica, you will need a 94-99 celica gt tranny, solara v-6 tranny, camry v-6 tranny, or mr2 turbo tranny. These trannies will bolt up to the 3s block of the caldina. The biggest problem you will have is the wiring of the caldina to your stock harness or vice versa. I have seen no wiring diagrams for that motor. However I've seen a couple for the st185(2nd gen 3sgte) and st205(3rd gen 3sgte). The caldina motor is a 4th gen 3sgte aka st215.
