i dunno if anyone else has done this but i thought i would share.. i just took a small flat head screw driver, popped out the dome light lense, took sum candy apple red paint and put a couple coats on the smooth side.. then clear coated it and put it back in the dome light opening. the light was kinda pink, becuz i didnt put enough coats on.. i didnt have enough paint.. so today i bought more but i tinted the inside becuz i had a really nice finish on the other side and didnt wanna ruin it.. it turned out really well! i ended up with a nice solid red, much like neon underbody, but in the dome light! its pretty tight. i dont have pics since i dont have a digital camera anymore.. but its really easy to do

I had my own fix to this, I used the stock dome light bulb, and add about 20 leds in there, so I have blue LED's and stock white bulb and made a toggle switch bettwen them.
