 Waiting for 3 weeks......, Alternator quit...waiting for new one |

About 3 weeks ago my alternator decided to quit, and this is around 2 weeks after I installed new fogs....I hope its just coincidence and not that the fogs are what made it burn out......but anyways I've been waiting 3 weeks and the dealership told me it should be in soon. But honestly 3 WEEKS FOR AN ALTERNATOR!! its coming from JAPAN for god sakes!! aAAHHHHH!! WTF!! sorry just stressing
 oh yea and I just lowered my car as well so hardly any time to test it out...sigh

You are wasting your time and money by going to a dealer. Open up your phone book a look for places that rebuild altenators and starters. I'm not sure about the US, in Toronto I'd get a rebuilt altenator for around 65 buck plus core.
