Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on my misfiring. it occures consistantly on acceleration except in higher rpm ranges (in which case is rockets forth like it normally does). i dumped some 44k ( fuel cleaner) and it got rid of the problem for a while then it came back once the tank was done. so i thought i should throw a fuel filter at it, no luck. im thinking maybe theres some kinda restriction at the pump or sticking injectors.. anyone else have the same problem?

I'm guessing possibly ignition, my car used to do the same basically and I replaced cap, rotor, and wires and it worked just fine.
you can check if you have the manual for your car to see what resistance your wires should have, and that should help some with that my second guess would be you ar erunning too rich and therefore you have a bog with a miss at lower RPM's just my guess ![]() -------------------- If anyone is missing NASCAR and it's not on Speed Channel, take a fistful of Skittles, throw them in the toilet and hit the flush handle. Instant NASCAR!!!
