I got that impression also... I think he doesn't know what he's talking about... but if he/you do/does have a 14:1 comp ratio... then...well... musta punched the pocketbook pretty hard. I mean...damn... costs more than a swap or a custom turbo to do head work and block work like that... especially on the 7afe. The 7afe and the 5sfe both only have a single cam sprocket (although they are dual overhead cams). It's part of the "fe" head designation. Narrow head design, better economy, poorer performance, blah blah blah... so in other words, no cam gear"s"... ;] |
