 RS Akimoto Intake Tubing, Will this work? |

RS Akimoto has spiral-flex intake tubing that can be used to create a custom intake. The sizes range from 3in to 4in and 2ft to 4ft and also insulated or non-insulated. I am thinking about making my own intake using this tubing (3in). Will this work?

Go for it buddy.
Absolute worst thing you could do is screw it up (although I don't really know how thats possible) and have to put your stock air box back on. This is probably the cheapest mod you can do to your car, with the filter being the only cost more than pocketchange. Why not? btw.. go for the 3inch, because the filters are usually 3, but just to let you know, the connection on the throttle body is 2.5 inch. |
