 RS Akimoto Intake Tubing, Will this work? |

RS Akimoto has spiral-flex intake tubing that can be used to create a custom intake. The sizes range from 3in to 4in and 2ft to 4ft and also insulated or non-insulated. I am thinking about making my own intake using this tubing (3in). Will this work?

I read somewhere that if you make your intake too big or too long then you actually lose power. Now this might be wrong since the only people that post info on the net nowadays are rejects that don't know spit from oil.
