My new tranny should be here in about 3 or 4 days, (coming from cali to tenn). I'm in the process of taking out the old tranny and im stuck, this is very frustrating. I have everything unbolted and disconnected and a jack under the tranny. Moving it up and down, prying on it, nothing is seperating it from the motor. Its a 5sfe by the way. I already searched, cant find anything to help me. Any advice guys? p.s. (this is my first tranny remval) could have somthing to do with it. I'm one of those guys who learns as he goes.

QUOTE(DJWashington @ Nov 16, 2005 - 12:10 AM) Yeah ive got the axle's out n everything. I dont think theres anything ive missed, ive looked over it 100 times. Is it easier to wiggal from the bottom or the top? Bottem. You'll probably want a friend to help too. That thing isn't too heavy, but if you caught it wrong, you'd be pinned for a bit. Try tapping with a hammer around the edges too. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
