I just picked up a 10 gal starter kit. I wanted to know if it's safe to add my tap water, add the fish, and with the fish add the conditioner? Or if there's anything else I should do beforehand.
What are some good beginner fish that ARENT boring goldfish? -------------------- Sometimes we live to beat the odds.

  It's got 4 neon tetras, 2 red glass barbs, and 2 corydoras, and some snails. The plant behind the black/white rock is a real plant, the others are fake. I plan on adding a cave of some sort because its funny, the two barbs always are in the two holes in the rock. The tetras stick together and are pretty spazzy. My water is kind of clouded right now but my friend told me it would clear up in a bit. I washed the stones, and let the water be conditioned for about 12 hours before adding fish. They are cheapies but I love em, really soothing. The temperature is usually around 73 degrees F. Thoughts? -------------------- Sometimes we live to beat the odds.
