 HKS Style SSQV KnockOff, Opinions? |

Whats up guys...from those who have and have tried these HKS SSQV style BOV's (dan i think ur FOR it right?) how do u like 'em? think theyre as good as the real thing? id get the real thing but i wouldnt wunna pay for something that i can get a same exact copy of that works the same way for a fraction of the price.

I was reading Modified Mag tonight and they actually had a whole section on knockoff parts comparing them to the real thing. They even talked about the knockoff SSQV, and gave PLENTY of reasons not to use it after inspecting both pieces carefully. The key components just aren' built the same.
I would always stick to the real thing with our cars....chances are its usually a much better product and less harmful to your engine in some cases, and if anything goes wrong there is usually a warranty on a name brand product or at least good factory support. Can't say the same for a knockoff. Good choice Bboy.  BTW, Can't wait to see the car sometime!
