1990 Toyota Starlet Turbo RHD, whadda u think. Options

I was out with my friend joe 2day lookin for a system for his car, and we ran into my buddy Big Mike(hez hudge, 6'3" and 260, hense the name). Any ways, him and his bro are starting a business where they are going to import cars from japan to toronto. Right now between us and japan there is a '90 Skyline GTR modified in a creat headed to his house. They are using it as an advertising method to bring to car shows. He asked me if i wanted to help the buiness in 2 ways. 1. would be helpin him get a discount on wheels and tires(just got a job a wheel and tire place), and 2. Me buyin a car/advertising. So i told him im on a budget/want somethin Toyota. So he suggested an old AE86 Torino, but 2 many ppl want them/know them so it would probably get stolen quick. He also suggested a 90 Starlet Turbo. He told me he could get me one thats got some performance mods, i.e. suspention, engine, exhaust, wheels, etc. for around $4500 CND landed. So i told him i would think about it. He already found one through his dealer in Japan. Its a 90 Starlet turbo, HKS exhaust, HSK SSQ BOV, lowered on a set of springs *unknown*, 16" after market mesh wheels, stock interior except for a Apexi AFC(the orignal with the dials). Its pretty good n damn fast for the $.

If i do decide to help him out, it wont be untill spring. So he wants me to think about it and figure out what i want. So heres where i need ur help. If you could get any JDM toyota car from 1991 and older, what would it be? mind you these cars are all RHD and they can be any car that was made in japan. Im thinkin the Starlet would be cool cuz they are a very unique hatch back, and are fast as hell. My friend just swaped a Starlet motor into his 4 door trecel beater. Its soooo rediculusly fast.

It's ridiculous how you say things like "Who cares if it's ugly? If it's fast, that's all that matters." You try so hard to show that you're not a ricer, by saying speed is all that matters, when in reality, no one want a ****ty looking car.

It's silly, really.

Oh, I see what your saying now. I understand were your coming from, and I can see were you would think that. I really just like ugly cars that go fast actaully. I love sleepers. Dodge Omni turbo, or a Metro with a turbo Swift swap. I guess that turbo engine would come out of this car here. I never knew it came in the Starlet, I thought it was just the Swift. Looking pretty is cool too. If I had a really fast car that looked ****ty and people thought was slow, that would be my Zen (spelling?). I would like it to have a nicer interior, but it isn't nessisary. Really, it's just how I am. Besides that, I like Import cars more than American cars, so I'm a ricer anyway.

I frequent importconern.ca and have been looking at some of the Nissan Pulsar GTi-Rs they have listed. I think one of those would be hella fun... SR20DET, AWD, hatchback. Fast.

What's the link to that? I've heard of putting the SR20 in a Pulsar, and seen it done before, but I never knew any came like that. And AWD would be awsome. I'd get that over this Starlet thing. Sorry to the Toyota's of the world, but Nissan as got you on this one.
