whats the worst thing someone, has ever told you? Options

Today I was working at radioshack, just finised my paper work and went on the sales floor to help some of my employees' when an older lady comes in, barely walking thru the door on her own. So I rush over and get the door for her and I ask "How can I help you today" she asks "Do you have this particular battery" and due to the hurricane we had recently we were out of stock of the 12v alarm batteries so I told her "No ma'am, the closest radioshack is about 20 miles from here that has it in stock, but I will be more than happy to get it for you and have it hear by tomarrow" and then she just looks at me with this sad look and says slowly "No thank you, my life has been so bad im ready to just put my arms down and die" after I heard that I just didnt know what to say. Im usually the person who has a slick comment or remark for everything but I was totally speechless. All I could say when she was leaving was "I hope your day gets better." It really sucked hearing that, im still thinking about it almost 8 hours later.

well the worst thing ever said to me was recently.....

I have this friend named Steve & I was playing pool w/ his friend David & out of no where David said "hey I gotta tell you something...but DONT tell steve!" so I said "what?" & he said "well...your not cute enough for him" which came out of NO where because Steve is just a friend & I have never shown any interest in him! Anyway I said "well thanks for calling me ugly David!" & he said "Oh no! Im only saying your not cute enough for Steve but I think your BEAUTIFUL!".....(idiot).....

Well you know how girls are! We like to focus on negative comments said about us so I told him "hey you shouldnt have told me Steve said that" & he said "Oh he didnt actually SAY it....thats just my opinion!"
