Because I know I sure as hell would. I like it because it's different. Not everyday you see a FWD car with staggered rims lol. Oh, and btw I like the music. -Josh I wouldn't be stupid enough to spend time / money on a 600hp FWD car If I had the resources available to me, I'd DEFINATLEY work that kind of power into a RWD or at least AWD car.. It's just stupid and pointless to put it in a FWD if you ask me How can you call someone stupid when you don't know him, and have never met him? While it true that if he had put the same money into a rwd/awd platform, it woulda been one quick car but why be like everyone else? I think it's cool that he's trying to break new ground in the FWD world. You look like an ass when you bash someone for trying idea's that everyone says can't be done. So many great things have come from those who refused to listen to the people that say "it can't be done" or "that's stupid and pointless". Cars have come such a long way because of folks with that guy's attitude. Saying that you would have spent your money otherwise is fine, but don't attack the guy for doing what others said couldnt, and shouldnt be done. *gets off there are many things that we have come to know and accept. Most rational people will tell you that putting that much hp in a FWD car is pointless, period. It's called physics. Sure innovation is great, but it has to be smart, it has to be useful. Why do you think that you never see a mid-engined fwd car? Because companies aren't stupid enough to waste money on such a fruitless endeavor. I agree that new things are good, but some things are just plain stupid. 600hp + FWD is pointless. Why not put 2000hp in a FWD car? It's all useless once you get above a specific hp rating anyway. Don't try and defend this guy by saying he's innovative, he just has a lot of money and dosen't know where to invest it. Innovation is a wonderful thing, when it's useful. Henry Ford and the assembly line, useful. Audi and AWD rally cars, useful. Antilock brakes, useful, too much HP for the wheels that do the steering braking and acceleration to handle, moronic. Sorry man, it's nothing against you, I just really think that the guy with the del sol is mis-informed -------------------- ![]() |
