Hi. I'm trying to ground my brother's parking brake wire so that he can have his AVIC-D1 play movies and stuff while driving. Where is the parking brake wire? Thanks.
EDIT: I know there's laws and stuff and you shouldn't watch movies while driving or whatever but don't worry about us. We're willing to take that risk. This post has been edited by JoKeRkId613: Nov 24, 2005 - 6:43 PM -------------------- ![]() |

Ok. Yeah, I took a look at the back of the navi and I found that I didn't have to mess with the e-brake. It all has to do with the back of the thing. It appears to me that the light green wire is already grounded... The spliced it into a black wire that goes from the plug of the navi to some little black box there... but there's 2 black wires coming from the navi plug. I'm guessing they're both grounds? So I guess that there is fine... Or should I disconnect the light green from the black wire and ground it by itself? I have to do that and I also have to ground some other wire there. Random and probably dumb question... Can you ground 2 wires to the same ground?(Like if I'm grounding it to a bolt that is good ground, can I ground both wires to the same bolt? Thanks.
