Ok, so I have a 97 gt convertible and someone backed into my car, and I have to get a new front, right hand side fender. Can someone please explain why I have to get a fender off of another convertible? I have been told over and over again that a fender off of a hatchback or a coupe will not work??? Does this also mean that body kits wont work either before I throw the money out for that? If there is allready something on this can you please send me the link. Oh, and is it just my location or are parts for the convertible really this hard to find??

I got a kit thats meant for a Hatch Back and I have a convertible... You can get things (such as kits mainly) that are meant for the HatchBacks, but just be warned that your going to have to deal with some serious modifying...
Most sites tell you that its gonna be slight modification, but I found out first hand its the biggest pain in the ass... >_< LOL Just saying, you can do body work thats meant fora HatchBack, but whatever you do, DONT GET JDM TAILS... There will be no way in hell to get them on a coupe/convertible! Its sad cuz I want those on my car, but I cant get them sadly... --------------------  2003 Nissan Murano SE |
