There is not enouth pressure in return line after oil cooler - i tryed this by fitting oil pressure sensor there - and it practicly aint showed 1 bar at cold start...
The best place is there the Nik showed you. AND guys, stop about this oil restrictor - if turbo is BAD or it is reworked BAD then seals WOUNT hold anyway. Turbos with seals NEED to be fully oiled, cuz seals DO float on oil, so if there is not enouth pressure (not enouth oil in turbo) seals will just grind on the axle.. this will reduce your Turbo life.. The Solution on this - as bigest as posible DRAIN line and as straight down without any curves.... This saved me from smoking on my Old celica, and even after 4000 miles (the guy who bought it done 4000 already) it still has no problems at all.... -------------------- Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...
