I am switching out pads and rotors and want to paint the calipers.
anyone tips? good paint, cleaning... Man it is messed up here in canada... not that I am complaining, but the toyota rotors were cheaper than the no-name premium, and they came plated. Pads were only a little more but they don't make TRD for the back anymore. thanks |

Yeah I found that same fact about Toyota rotors being cheaper than replacements, the funny thing is the dealer asked me which one I wanted, I was like Toyota duh? I currently have re-surfaced my front rotors on my ST 3 times, and and they are the ones that were on the car when I bought it used. So far 30,000 miles. The moron who had my car befor eme took it to some ****ty brake place, where they shoehorned some illfitting pads, which actually cracked after 5,000 miles, but did a number on the rotors. I also had a siexed front right caliper, which was taken apart and rebuilt, cheap kit a ton of labor to pay for.
