 how to install speakers, i need help bad!!!! |

i just baught new alpine speaker for my car but having a hard time installing it... the front door stock speakers are 6 3/4 but the 6 1/2 works but they dont fit onto the speaker holder.......what do i do

s'true, brackets are the best bet, it's just that the one's we got don't work. I am looking around at local shops to see if I can get custom brackets made for the front speakers. In the back, I think if I just do some cutting I can get the speakers to fit, it's just gonna be a pain in the a$$.
Someone I talked to also recommended using those metal strips with holes in 'em to bridge the gap between the speaker holes and the mounting holes, but I'm not sure how sturdy that would be. Those are cheap, though, and if custom brackets are too spendy, I might give it a try. |
