OK so my sister was looking to buy a new car and she needed one pretty quick so her options were a miti eclipse, celica or more expensive integra, well anyway i was at work and heard that she bought the celica and i was asking questions and all but the person didn't know so i was like well she is picking me up from work so ill get to see it then. She has a 95 silver St automatic with 60k i think (could be 80, don't remember) anyway she said that she paid 8 grand for it and i said she got ripped off and its not even a gt and i had to prove to her that her car wasnt just by showing her the engine code of her car. She was like well its still cool and i said ya but you paid too much. Do you think she paid to much for it?? she also bought the car from Wilde Honda i think.

she probably paid too much unless its mint, basically you can knock off $2000 from a dealer's price. I paid $7,000 for my 94 st in 2000 with 64,000 miles. Looking back I paid too much since the car had been repainted, and their were some rust issues which were hidden by the repaint. However, if the car has no rust issues, it has low mileage, so that's a plus. I'll tell you what though since its your sister, women in general get worse deals on cars becuase car sales people take advantage, since they figure she can't negotiate. Just chalk it up to a life lesson. In the end for her, I don't think she's going to spend money upgrading her car, so not a big deal if gt or st.
