Well, I feel like a real idoit asking this, but I'm going to anyway. How do coilovers like these work? Do you just a strut up inside them? I've wondered why people don't get these but get the $1200 ones with the thing already in the middle.

EDIT: I don't think the link works, so if someone knows what I'm talking about would you please post a pic of an example? And/or send me info on how to post an image without paying for a photobucket account.

umm nope. link doesnt work. are u talking about the coilovers that are just the spring and the inside sleeve that adjusts the height? people do get these. but they are super bouncy. some people's struts are bad so instead of buying new stock struts with these coilovers, they pay a lil more and get a whole brand new setup. of course the more expensive ones are better too.
