Well, I feel like a real idoit asking this, but I'm going to anyway. How do coilovers like these work? Do you just a strut up inside them? I've wondered why people don't get these but get the $1200 ones with the thing already in the middle.

thouse things suck. I installed a set of ones like that on my buddies teggy and they were horrible. Bouncy, the sleves slipped so the car would get lower as you drive. Every 30KM or so of just road driving we hadda get out and reach through the rims and jack em up using his spare tire jack. It was horrible. He spent $200 on the enitre coil over package. Dont use them.
