Can anybody help after i took off my throttle body to clean.. i also bore it a little with drill than i sand it made it smooth .. and then when i put it back together , my car is now running at 1500 rpm at normal temp.. i check for leaks but cant find any.. you guys think i need a new gasket or somthing....or did i mess it up by bore_ing the throttle body ...
i can use some help if you guys know what might the problem be... i didnt grind anymetal off or near the butterfly..... i already check the cable... This post has been edited by rev_limit: Dec 6, 2005 - 1:41 AM |

When you take off the throttle body, you should put a new gasket on. I don't know how you could bore it out without using a different butterfly.
