Just filled up my tank with 91 octane after driving home from work... while leaving the gas station, I gassed it and hear.. "CLUNK, CLUNK, CLUNK"....and my car stalls....even after I gassed it lightly.
This can't be good... ![]() My babies in pain... I feel like crying...seriously... Anyways... I think it's the transmission. I have auto and my car has about 187K on it. I also noticed that my left strut isn't bouncy like the right one. I'm not sure if this is related or not. And when I pushed the car (out of moving traffic) it makes a Clunk every revolution. I towed it to my mechanics, and I'm gonna see how much this is gonna cost me. Thanks for listening to my problems. |

Would that explain my car grinding when I put it in gear? I'm not trying to sound smart... I really don't know. if your axle has broken and is not seated properly in the tranny, it will grind. -------------------- |
