I was driving to school yesterday when I noticed that my temperature was beyond the red zone into H and shortly thereafter my car starting steaming. I pulled over and opened the hood to just see smoke everywhere, but after a while I noticed it was only coming from the radiator. Luckily, my girlfriend dropped by a took me to Pepboys nearby where I picked up some coolant and filled up the radiator because it was empty.
But it was no coincidence. Today I saw a huge leak under my car and it smelled foul (coolant) and looked greenish. There wasn't that much liquid so I figured I was okay and my car had enough coolant for the engine not to overheat. I drove to school and guess what happens? Smoke. This is getting annoying. I don't want to take the car to a mechanic when I just dropped so much money getting the struts and wheel bearings replaced less than a month ago. It seems just when I fix something, another thing gets broken. Anyways, anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? I'd hate to fill up the radiator every couple days. -------------------- ![]() |

obviously you have a leak, or somthing, somewhere.
could be a hose, or the rad. itself, you need to get in there, find the problem, and fix it. you'll be lucky if you havnet blown the headgasket and warped the head driving it like that. ![]() -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
