Today, I picked up my turbo. I'm very excited. It's a Garrett Super 60. However, the one I have is a T3/T4 Super 60. I dont know which side is T3 and which side is T4 but the silver snail looking piece says "A/R .60 M11". And on the dark piece that connects to the mani and downpipe says "3" and ".48" somewhere right inside the flange opening. The thing is, I wanted this to be a straight T3 Super 60. Is there any way to convert this to a straight T3? If not, then can someone please post up the compressor map of the T3/T4 Super 60? I can't find it anywhere. I only find the one for the straight T3. How will this turbo do on my little 1.8? Thanks.

That doesn't sound like a T3/T4 to me, it sounds just like a T3 Super 60 with a .48 a/r on the turbine side (which is good).
A T3/T4 is typically a turbo with a T3 turbine and a T4 compressor. However, the compressor you listed is a T3. Why did you think you had a T3/T4? -Doc -------------------- -Dr Tweak, 6GC's resident engine swap wiring expert extraordinaire Click here to see my swaps drtweak@phoenixtuning.com |
