Someone once told me. A fast car that looks slow is worse than a slow car thal looks fast. but then on the other hand I have also been told that slow cars when look fast are ricers and fast cars are too hard to spot anyways.

If you had a mustang, yes the one with loud exhaust.. the one that has the deep rumble that creeps inside your chest as it passes by.. the one that you can barely see as it zooms by.. as a matter of fact you are like.. eh thats a mustang.

Then you see my (now old car) and it has a slow motion entrance.

Those of you that seen it inperson may or may not agree but living here in a college town of 60000 students I get to "cruise" at 25mph and everyone , just so happens to turn their heads as my car passes by with led kit and my dragon and my rims and all the other things my car had. Whether they do or they dont like it... they ALWAYS look in my car in slow mo... and I see it happen since 2003 5 times per day twice per day. That tells you a-your car is being noticed and b-you feel good about it

Now I put all my mods to make my car look like I want it.. not some guy in florida, not some guy who complains about ricer cars and lives off coast of Africa.. I do it for me because I get a rush of happiness everytime I see my car. It makes me feel good because of all the time and effort I put into my car pays off. There is nothing better then getting appreciation from antique chevy driver and receiving a compliment on how nice my car looked.

I have them and I would recommend them to any driver who has some body work done. if you are driving a stock celi with a neon kit.. it may look a bit weird but if you zoom by someone and have a kit on then people are like: "darn kids" and you kan feel yourself laughing cause you know you feel like a gangster.

I didn't quote the rest bc we all know what it said and I didn't want a huge quote in my post lol. I totally disagree with this intro statement but that's because I come from a background of building and racing sleepers rather than leaving my car stock in the performance department and adding a bunch of weight-adding bodykits and neons etc I would rather make it fast. To me and my friends who build cars, we would rather have a car that can smoke half the stuff on the road but still look really slow. Let's use my friend's 5.0 Mustang for example. Looks all stock, even down to the wheels. Yes it's in good shape but it looks all stock and sounsd no different than a stock motor with flowmasters. But under the hood he's got a 383 stroker, racing cams, etc etc etc and can run in the 11-12 second quarter miles all day long. Our satisfaction comes when a car that is that fast wants to race thinking they can win and get their doors blown off because there was no way they could know that car was fast.

I guess in my opinion guys like you who cruise through placse looking for people to look at their cars are just attention whores. There's a guy in town here with an early 90s Dodge Caravan that cruises just like you do, he's got chrome wheels, a ricer muffler, neons, etc and he gets just as much positive and negative attention as you do. People cruising for attention like that are just a joke IMO but to each his own
