Is my car the only one that marks quarter tank when on empty??
My car has died several times when on the quarter tank mark, and wanted to know if its normal for our celicas, or if its something wrong with mine. |

there is a little wire with a plastic floater thing that is attached to the fuel pump assembly. this is what measures how much gas you have. i cant really see that thing broken, but anything is possible.
i would take your gauge cluster out and make sure the needle can move freely . push it all the way down with your hand and start the car up ...then see if it climbs back up nice and smoothly -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
