I went to Yakima today to get some work done on the cars, and the first thing I saw was tape and clear plastic over my almost-complete parts Celi. I figured maybe my parents didn't want it getting snow on it, but then I looked closer and saw that the window was smashed out, and the dash and plastic panels were broken.
Apparently this happened earlier this week but my parents didn't want to tell me and stress me out during finals week. This is the third time one of my Celicas has been broken into at my house and it sucks...I was going to use many of the destroyed parts on my yellow Celica, but now I'll have to source them from elsewhere. And I'm scared to have any of my stuff in Yakima...if only I had a garage up here where I live. Ugh...just had to vent...I was so pissed off that I accidentally rammed my body into the garage door a bit too hard trying to open it(it was frozen shut) and the hinges broke off and it fell on one of my yellow Celica's fenders...so now I've got even more work ahead of me. ![]() Today just sucks. ![]() This post has been edited by Coomer: Dec 10, 2005 - 9:06 PM -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

I don't understand why people do this to you. Is it just you, or are the people like that to everyone? And at your high school, you don't seem like the type of guy that people would pick on. I've got a buddy of mine who is a real goof. He's been picked on his entire life, doesn't matter were he goes. I feel bad for him. He's just doesn't have social skill. From what I've seen of you posting and what not, you seem to be socially adjusted well, so I am further perplexed. You're not a jerk, are you? You don't seem to be that either. Is it a redneck town that doesn't like imports because their, "Takin r Jubs." Or is there no reason for this harassment?

QUOTE(Bigmeanbulldog55 @ Dec 12, 2005 - 12:59 PM) I don't understand why people do this to you. I'm not entirely sure...At high school I was the quiet kid...most people knew me but I just never was loud or a jerk or anything...and I can't think of anyone at all who hates me...I'm not real confrontational, I don't like to deal with drama, and I'm super easygoing for the most part, so I never made enemies. There were always the rednecks at school who would give me a hard time because of my "rice burner," but I was nice to them and knew a few of them so they were usually just joking around and I'd go along with their jokes. Realistically, I think that the motivation for the break-ins is so that the thieves can get stereo/electronic stuff to sell for money, so that they can use that money to buy drugs. Yakima is one of the cities with the worst drug-trafficking problems in the nation...I know soooooo many people I grew up with who either were into hardcore drugs(mostly coke and meth) or still are into them. And I've witnessed close friends addicted to meth first hand...it's sickening what they'll do for their fix. Also, there is a lot of poverty in Yakima. Everyone seems to know my car in Yakima and there are unfortunately a lot of people who know where I live...so I dunno. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
