Hi all
I've got an engine starting problem The car will start up, but choke and die after a couple sec, or when the throttle is opened A service guy from RACV (insurance roadside assistance) shorted the fuel pump to the battery via the diagnostics, and the engine ran.. He showed me which pin to short, but after he left I tried and couldn't start it, but the multimeter reads 13V when shorted.. does anyone have any suggestions? the fuel filter has been replaced so far |

The pins to short are +B and FP. Maybe your circut opening relay (fuel pump relay) went bad... You should get the diagrams and see what's up.
