I am purchasing a st185 RC 3SGTE that I am going to pick up in Jan., Basically what can I do to reach 350hp with under $2,000?
I already have a upgraded fuel system, boost controller, and am about to purchase a Greddy E-manage ULTIMATE, I plan on using everything that is on car as I can on my new setup. I have already recieved another GT32 turbo that I plan on using on the 3S So basically what can I do to get around 350HP and is my budget high enough to do so? here is a list on my engines mods. I know ALOT of the parts I won't be able to use but what do i need to reach my goal? Thanks for all your help guys... QUOTE Performance Modifications

afroman Posted Today, 09:35 AM
cams would be a good start. -Aaron- thanks I considered doing this, what kind of gain could this give me QUOTE presure2 Posted Today, 04:02 AM its gonna cost A HELL of alot more than 2k to make 350+whp on a 3sgte. I figured with the mods I have on the car already that that would already put me up in the 230-260hp range. here is what I'm pretty sure I can use that I already have ITS GT32 turbo 3.5" downpipe HKS SSQV blow-off valve HKS 65mm BOV flange 2.5" intercooler piping Apexi SAFC-II version 2 (have right now- ordered E-manage ultimate yesterday) Turbo smart boost controller Turbosmart 38mm wastegate Autometer COBALT boost guage Mishimoto 31"x11"x3" intercooler KOYO Radiator KOYO 1.3bar radiator cap RC engineering 550cc injectors ( plan on getting larger RC injectors) Walbro 255lph fuel pump Fuel pressure regulator INNOVATE LM-1 wideband O2 with datalogger fast-turbo oilfilter relocation kit Goodridge -6an fuel lines from tank Aeromotive in-line fuel filter Aeromotive boost dependant fuel pressure regulator magna flow exhaust full 3.5" exhaust from manifold (all Magnaflow 3.5" mandrel bends) HKS filter HKS catch-can MSD sportcompact ignition plus MSD custom fit 8.5mm wires MSD Blaster SS coil NX N-tercooler sprayer w/CF bottle NX 35 SHOT w/RPM window switch battery relocation to hatch 8ga. power wire to MSD and Walbro fuel pump TRD short shifter all of this will be on the car , I don't know which turbo manifold I am going to go with probably a equal lenght stainless steel manifold to use with GT32-this is not included in my $2000 budget -------------------- If anyone is missing NASCAR and it's not on Speed Channel, take a fistful of Skittles, throw them in the toilet and hit the flush handle.
