I'm installing a keyless entry system in my Celica and it has an option for a power trunk release for my hatch. I know if you put in a power trunk solenoid, you need a dash switch to active it which renders the cable-pull on the floor useless.
My question is this: Can I install the power trunk solenoid so I can pop the hatch remotely but still use the cable-pull on the floor and skip the dash switch? I just like the cable-pull. -------------------- |

I tapped into my hatch light's power source and put a 10 amp fuse on it. I got pics of the wire if you need it.

QUOTE(djultimate @ Dec 13, 2005 - 9:47 PM) I tapped into my hatch light's power source and put a 10 amp fuse on it. I got pics of the wire if you need it. Isn't that switched so it's only on when the back is open? |
