ok so heres my situation and a little history. Resently me and my ex have broken up after a 2 year relationship, since the split, i've been looking for some new friends and a few girls to talk to and hang out with. BEFORE the relatiopnship I used to be able to approach almost any girl and atleast be able to have a decent conversation with them. Im not the sexiest guy ever, but I have a good personality. Anywho, lately I've been looking around and even when a girl approachs ME, I seem to get shy and have nothing to say. What the hell is wrong with me? Now I've been at the mall lately and there are TONS of girls, and even at work, it just seems like I forgot how to 'flirt' with them. All I've been able to get out lately was "you know you have gorgious green eyes." It worked for the most part, except I forgot to ask for her # and this was in a busy mall about 30 mins away from me, so the chances of me seeing her again are worse than winning the lotery 5 times in a row. Anywho, im just venting and trying to find out wth is wrong with me. Any advice, comments, questions, concerns, rude remarks, hate mail and other forms of communication are appriciated.

I think suggesting flirting with unattractive girls and working your way up to attractive girls is a completely ****ed up theory. If some guy acted interested in me as “practice” I’d be pretty pissed off. I can understand just flirting that’s fine, but the whole talking to not to attractive girls because they could have hot friends is ****ed up. I’ve had that done to me before and it’s not a great feeling. You just need to not look at women as if they are different people. 90% of the time we are just as shy and freaked out as you are. Just don’t turn into one of those guys who thinks that they are gods gift to women. ok I’m done ranting.

yea i agree. but it doesnt hurt to talk to girls that your not interested in...doesnt mean that they're ugly or anything but they could just be your friend.
