hey guys, wondering if any of you used the 3sgte turbo stay on your 5sfte projects, ive had some problems with my exhaust manifold studs breaking off, and wondering if anyone else has had and similar problems.
broke the top right one and bottom left over the summer, i replaced all the studs at that time, and now i have the two upper corner ones broken again. anyone even tried to fit the turbo stay? heres a couple pics: -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

im sure the extra support the bracket gives will help things out
turbo + manifold + DP = lots of stress on those bolts add in the heat and movement of the engine and you get a lot of stress on those studs. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
