hey everone whats up, ,im new to the forum i just bought a 94 toyota celica st and am planning to do a 3sgte motor swap...my friend got the swap on his 91 mr2 and said tat since his car was MR then that it was easy to convert the transmission or soemthing..basiclly my question is can you drop the 3sgte motor in the celica while keeping it front wheel drive or would i have to convert it soemhow to rear wheel or all wheel drive..he also said soemthign abut the type of transmission i would be using....i know the 3sgte was used in japan as the jdm spec for the mr2 and was used here for the gt4 celica..please email me and info or soemting on here abotu it-ryanjayawardena@yahoo.com thanks- Ryan J.

i dont know the exact answer to your question but it'd be great if someone can just answer his question, i know the answer is short. i know you guys get tired of hearing the same question over and over. but sh!t, theres been questions i asked after i search and people tell me to search. sometimes you cant find the exact answer you're looking for and sometimes can't think of the right words to search for. in this case... i would search for mr2-transmission-fwd-awd-rwd-3sgte. the only words the search will take is "transmission" and "3sgte... now... how many topics will it find? A LOT. i dont know if you guys get what im saying but dont flame on people when you cant even search and get the exact answer youre looking for.
