as a few of you know, I have no clue when it comes to distributorless ignition. I can do distributors (all I have ever worked with) but the distributorless thing.... I couldn't find the answers I was looking for in my research.

SO, with that said:

Lets say I have a Stock 7afe and I want to convert it over to distributorless ignition (which would be useless for the most part, but this is for the sake of understanding the process.) What would I do, and what would I need?

Any comments would be great.

Jon

Technically a DIS system such as EDIS is much more exact than a distributor setup. Given there is not much of a power difference but its all about tunability and DIS > distributors.

Tune-ability depends entirely on the computer... the actual system making the spark has little to do with it... granted DIS systems are better for a wide range of tuning... but that's about it.
