This is a weird question but i had a bad alternator when i bought it so i got it replaced and its draining the battery im thinking it has something to do with it not being a toyota alternator has this happend to anyone else?
Also would any toyota alternator fit my car because i am about to go get one from a junkyard? |

Yeah right b4 i got the new alt i got a brand new battery and i was talking to my cousin that works at a dealrship and he said that this is a common thing he said if its not toyota he is alwaysd replacing them every couple of months. And i even talked to a toyota specialist that owns a after market shop and he said he would never put any alt in a toyota unless its a toyota one, b/c he has had the same problem.
And im pretty sure its the alt. b/c when ever i pull up to a red light all my gages and headlights dim untill i start giving it gas. So i would guess that its not the batery. |
