I got the button to work but only when the key is in the ignition and turned to the ON position. Is there a way to wire it so that I don't the key at all? Also, how do I shut the engine off without using the key?

is there away to get a start button to work like a bmw does? where you push the button to start the engine, and push it the second time to turn off the engine. With the current setups, you will just grind the starter if you push it twice.

QUOTE(Hanyo @ Dec 18, 2005 - 4:33 AM) is there away to get a start button to work like a bmw does? where you push the button to start the engine, and push it the second time to turn off the engine. With the current setups, you will just grind the starter if you push it twice. With my setup (5 speed) you will only grind the starter if you depress the clutch and press the button while the engine is running. You might be able to set it up that way if you buy the BMW button. The button I have is from a Honda S2000. -------------------- |
