PSP questions Options

i have a few questions about the psp.

what emulators can you run on it? snes, sega,etc?

if you buy one brand new, how do you know what firmware version is in the one you buy?

i hear that 1.5 is the one you want for all the emus. can u downgrade to 1.5 if you happen to get a higher version out of the box?

how long does the battery last on a single charge? im guessing its more then 2hrs since the sell movies for it.

if i have one with version 1.5 on it, will all the legit games run on it, or will some games require me to update to a newer version?

does the psp still come with a copy of spiderman2 umd?

can it play divx movies, or do you have to convert everything on your computer to a psp format before it can play it?

is there a web browser in version 1.5, or do u need to update the firmware for that?

are there any other cool things you can use it for , that i might not know about?

just get it man. its a fun game system. personally i wouldnt go with the homebrew games. even if u want to stick with the older firmware, games now and future games will require you to update it anyways.

battery lasts 4 hours for me. spiderman2 sucks ass so who cares if it comes with it.

the only cool thing would probably be location free tv. but ull need a $300 web transmitter at home and ur psp connected to a wifi.

well for me the whole idea behind getting it would be for emulators. i havent seen any games for it that i like so far.

i asked about spiderman2 because i want to know if it will come with some type of movie so that i can see the quality of umd movies. oh, and i thought spiderman2 was great.
