Aite well tonight i'm probably goin to pull my motor outta my car and clean the engine bay and paint it..
basically anyone who's done it before have any tips hints suggestions condemnations thank you..... and is there any interest in possibly a motor removal how to? |

if u dont know all the vac lines, harness, etc by heart, lable them before u disconnect . take lots of pics that you can refer to later.
drain the engine and tranny oil. undo the shifter cables and hydraulic lines. doubble and tripple check that everything is disocnnected from the motor before you start to pull it out. get under the car and unbolt the rear motor mount 1st, then the front, then the sides. all while having the lift hooked up . hook up the lift in a way were the motor tilts down at an angel so that there is enought room to clear everything. buy a better motor to put back in there This post has been edited by lagos: Dec 20, 2005 - 1:43 PM -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
