since theres always someone on this site who is an expert on any given area, can any of you help me? im kinda overweight but not too bad, and i just want to know a good excercise that i can do after school to help me lose weight. i want to have as much fat as possible gone by march 18 (spring break). im 5'10" and weigh ~173 lbs. i have a decent amount of lean mass cause i was in weight training the first semester in school and i got my bench up to ~215, while working out the rest of the body. just trying to be as specific as possible cause i really want to get rid of some weight. im already trying to watch what i eat, but it seems to have brought me nowhere. some calc said i should keep my heart rate at around 140 for fat-burning. how much are the things that measure your heart rate? i dont want to have to stop and count during an excercise to find out my heart rate. what the hell do i do for quick, dramatic results?

you at one 173 and want to lose fat .. damn i'm only 5'6 and i'm 180lns ...

but if you want to lose fat its really simple ... just keep your self active for most of the day ... sounds like you won't have a problem doing that... if your goin somewhere walk .. a nice 2-3 mile walk will do good .. cut out all the junkfood ..and drink lots of water like itchy said... don't take the elevator take the stairs .. and work out when you wake up and before for you eat anything... and do not .. do not eat before you got to sleep ...
